Let’s be honest: arguing endlessly about whether it was a foul or not changes nothing. The game’s finished, the result stands and the only useful thing now is to look forward. The league is tight — teams in and around the top five keep dropping points, sometimes from nowhere. That makes our remaining fixtures proper drama, not a procession.

One point gained, lessons to take

Rescuing a point feels different to how it would have earlier in the season. We grind one out, we fight for something we might have let slip months back. That says something about character, even if the performance wasn’t sparkling. It wasn’t flawless, some players looked off the pace and the cohesion wasn’t there, but points are hard to come by when every team is scrapping.

Squad mood and selections

There’s no hiding the low morale around some players — that happens for a variety of reasons and it shows on the pitch. You can shake your head at some of Danny's selections and decisions, and you can debate them for ages. Truth is, complaining is one thing; backing the lads is another. These players are the ones who must deliver over the next weeks, so they need our support even when we disagree with the team sheet.

Keep the focus tight

So what matters is simple: one game at a time, with the big one in the middle — Celtic. If we prioritise that fixture, set the tone and take it as the must-win it is, everything else becomes background noise. Win that, and momentum builds. Repeat that approach for the next run of matches and the rest will sort itself out. The title is still there to be won, but only if we pull together now, support the squad and stay ruthless when the moment arrives.
