Don't believe the wage-demand stories. Online valuations and forum chatter have blown this up, and there's no hard evidence the player is asking for more money or is worth a record fee.
Value versus market noise
People point at websites and quotes out there as if they're gospel. They're not. Those numbers are ballpark figures or crowd-sourced estimates and the club's own valuation is private. We rarely publish what we value a player at, so anyone claiming certainty about a wage demand or a transfer fee is guessing at best.
Clubs, agents and journalists all have reasons to push stories. It suits some to inflate a player's worth and worry the supporters, while others simply pass along whispers as if they were facts. Remember that when someone on here keeps insisting a fee or wage is nailed on.
Why EPL talk is premature
Wanting to believe a player can make the jump to the Premier League is understandable. But wanting and proving are different things. Plenty who shine in the SPL find the EPL's pace, intensity and physicality a step up. A striker's goals can hide defensive shortcomings and issues away from the ball.
If he hasn't shown the all-round game needed for a tougher league then talk of him being 'EPL-ready' is wishful thinking. It's not personal; it's just reality. Being honest about limitations helps set sensible expectations for any sale price.
Trust facts, not recycled guesses
We all get fed talk from supposed insiders. You say you were told Bajrami was off to Italy and Dio to France and that both were done. When that doesn't happen it damages credibility. Repeating those claims doesn't make them truer — they become noise.
In short: don't take every rumour at face value. Treat market values online as a guide, not a decree. And if someone keeps getting things wrong, take their next 'inside info' with a large pinch of salt. It's better to be sceptical than to set ourselves up for disappointment.
